LOADING ARMS FOR THE CHEMICAL AND HEALTH SECTORS
The fine chemicals and health sectors require strict compliance with applicable food standards, depending on the application (certificates 3.1b and FDA 1935/2004 CE on request). For chemical applications, the loading arms are designed to convey specific highly concentrated chemical fluids such as hydrochloric acid or sulphuric acid.
On request, adaptations can be made to the loading arms for chemicals with the addition of a cone that reliably positions the loading or unloading arm, or even a duct that recovers the steam at the top of the tankers so that it can be safely and securely eliminated. The high-tech rotary unions fitted to the loading arms for chemicals are machined, assembled and then fitted by our Pacquet teams. These rotating joints are of a high standard, and the loading arms are carefully balanced and ergonomic, making them smooth and easy to handle when transferring corrosive or non-corrosive chemical fluids.
